Ashlyn's Story

Ashlyn Johnson is the President and Founder of the Happy Hearts Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting families and individuals with young children that are experiencing a hardship. Her personal journey has deeply shaped her mission. Having experienced motherhood at two very different stages of life, first at 16 with her daughter Serenity and later at 33 with her son Tristan. These experiences gave her a profound understanding that, no matter where you are in life, everyone needs support at some point.

Ashlyn knows firsthand the power of intentional interactions and how they can transform lives. With the support of her husband and family, she founded the Happy Hearts Foundation in 2022 to serve as a bridge from fear to hope for parents facing difficult choices—like whether to buy diapers or pay the electric bill.

She is a firm believer that the challenges we face are not just our own but opportunities to ease the pain and struggles of others. Through the Happy Hearts Foundation, Ashlyn continues to turn her lived experiences into purpose, offering compassion, resources, and hope to families during their most difficult times.

Ashlyn lives in Texas with her husband, Terrance, as they prepare to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Their daughter, Serenity (19), was recently accepted to the University of Houston, where she will study Psychology—a milestone that fills their family with excitement for her next chapter. Their son, Tristan (3), keeps everyone on their toes and their hearts full. Ashlyn believes that love and support can change lives, and through Happy Hearts, she is committed to ensuring that no parent ever feels alone.
